How to Join the WVARA

The following types of membership are available:

• General Membership -- Any licensed amateur radio operator is eligible to join the WVARA as a General member. General members enjoy all of the rights and privileges of WVARA membership.
• Associate Membership -- Any non-licensed individual interested in amateur radio and who supports the objectives of the WVARA may join as an Associate member. Associate members enjoy all of the privileges of membership except the right to vote or hold office.

Dues for General and Associate members are $35.00 per year. Additional members residing in the same household as a General member pay a reduced rate of $8.00 per year.

Memberships expire on January 31st of each year.  Dues received after August 31st will count towards the following calendar year.

General members may purchase a Life membership for $700.00 (20 times the annual dues rate of $35.00).
